Quota: The candidates who have qualified through NEET UG conducted by NTA can participate in the UGMAC counselling (Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling) for admission in HIMALAYA MEDICAL COLLECE & HOSPITAL, PALIGANJ, PATNA under following Quota
There is no State Quota / Govt Quota seats in private medical colleges of Bihar. 100% seats are under management quota only.
Management Quota: 85% seats. The candidates qualified through NEET UG are eligible for management quota seats. The candidates who are not domicile in the state of Bihar are also eligible for management quota seats. There is no reservation in Management quota seats based on caste or PwD status. All NEET qualified candidates are considered as general category candidates only. Category qualified candidates of other states are also eligible to participate in the UGMAC counselling process provided they have filled their correct category in the NEET application form.
NRI Quota: 15% seats. The candidates qualified through NEET UG and fulfil the criteria of eligibility of NRI Quota seats as per the directions/orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case WP (Civil) 689 of 2017 (Consortium of the Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) and Anr vs The Union of India and Ors dated 22.08.2017 and Principles set in Anshul Tomar (supra) case in West Bengal and other relevant orders are only be considered in NRI Quota seats. The candidates who opt for NRI Quota cannot opt for State Quota/Management Quota.
