This course provides natural healing, herbal medicine, and holistic treatment methods based on the principles of Unani medicine.
The Unani system of medicine originated from Greek (Yunani) traditions. It is based on the concept of four humours – blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile. It emphasizes body's self-healing capability and uses herbal, mineral, and animal-derived medicines.
BUMS graduates have many options in their career. After completion they can work as Unani practitioners, researchers, lecturers, or healthcare consultants in government and private hospitals, research centres, and pharmaceutical companies.
Candidates must be qualified in NEET-UG for admission to recognized Unani medical colleges in India.
