Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board.
• Subjects Required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English as core subjects.

Minimum Marks Required (Aggregate in PCB):

• General Category: 50%
• OBC/SC/ST: 40%
• PwD (Persons with Disabilities): 45%

Minimum Age Requirement:

• Must be at least 17 years old as of 31st December of the admission year.
• No upper age limit for NEET-UG as per latest updates.

Nationality:

• Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are eligible.

Entrance Exam Required:

• NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate) is mandatory for BDS admission.

NRI/Foreign Candidates:

• Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English in 12th grade.
• Some universities may require an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

1. Qualify NEET-UG:

• NEET-UG is mandatory for admission to BDS courses in India.
• Minimum eligibility: 10+2 with PCB (50% for General, 40% for Reserved categories).

2. Register for Counselling:

• MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) Counselling – For All India Quota (15%) seats in government colleges.
• State-Level Counselling – For 85% state quota seats in government & private dental colleges.
• Deemed University Counselling – Conducted separately for private deemed universities.

3. Choice Filling & Seat Allotment:

• Select preferred BDS colleges during counselling.
• Seat allotment based on NEET rank, category, and availability.

4. Document Verification & Fee Payment:

• Submit required documents (NEET scorecard, 10+2 mark sheet, ID proof, etc.).
• Pay admission fees and confirm the seat.

5. Reporting to College:

• Visit the allotted college before the deadline to complete admission formalities.

      ✔ Character Certificate – Issued by the last attended school/college
